MailProbe verifies email addresses for anyone who sends email at scale — from a list pasted or uploaded in the browser, or from a REST API called by your backend.

The problem

Our approach

MailProbe performs real-time, multi-layer verification:

• Syntax validation — catch typos and malformed addresses before hitting any server
• DNS MX lookup — confirm the domain actually has mail servers
• SMTP handshake — connect to the mail server and check if the mailbox exists, without sending any email
• Smart categorization — flag disposable, role-based, and free provider addresses
• Catch-all detection — identify servers that accept everything regardless of the mailbox
