Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the MailProbe API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the Service
MailProbe provides an email verification API that checks syntax, MX records, SMTP deliverability, and flags disposable or role-based addresses. Results are provided on a best-effort basis.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. One account per person or organization.
4. Credits & Payments
- New accounts receive 100 free credits.
- Additional credits can be purchased via Stripe.
- Credits expire one year after the most recent purchase.
- All purchases are final — credits are non-refundable.
- Prices may change; existing credits remain valid until expiry.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for spamming, phishing, or any illegal activity.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API.
- Resell API access without prior written consent.
- Use the service to validate email lists obtained without consent.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Accuracy & Disclaimer
Email verification results are provided for informational purposes only. MailProbe does not guarantee 100% accuracy. SMTP server responses vary and are outside our control. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iris Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of MailProbe. Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Data & Privacy
Email addresses submitted for verification are processed in real time and are not stored beyond the duration of the request. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email or on the website.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of France.
